Storage (midstream)
Across the globe Puma Energy’s storage
terminals provide a full range of services for their respective
local markets.
Services include basic throughput for third
parties such as traders or wholesalers, or deliveries to our Puma
branded network of petrol stations and other downstream businesses.
Puma Energy also operates sophisticated blending terminals which
allow customers to blend components into finished quality
product.
Puma Energy’s storage facilities provide
competitive access to domestic and international markets while
maintaining the highest standards of quality. All terminals have
been designed to be as flexible as possible in their capacity to
store or throughput most petroleum products, including various
grades of gasoline and diesel, fuel oil, aviation fuels and
LPG. Many Puma Energy terminals are bonded, providing
capacity to develop regional trading opportunities and enhanced
financial security.
Our storage services include receiving and
delivery through marine facilities. Puma Energy is experienced in
the construction, maintenance and operation of jetties, berths, and
offshore mooring systems such as SBM (single buoy mooring) and CBM
(conventional buoy mooring) systems. Other modes of receipt and
delivery include road and rail racks to allow Puma Energy’s
facilities to integrate with inland transportation systems.
In order to maintain the high quality of
operations and client services, all Puma Energy’s storage
facilities now operate under ISO standards or are in the process of
implementing the required ISO standards. Puma Energy has a bespoke
safety management system which is applied to our storage operations
globally, and our systems are regularly audited, and are compliant
with the regulatory environments of both the US and the European
Union.
Following the acquisition of several new
projects, as well as through driving organic growth within our
existing terminals, Puma Energy is fast expanding its storage
facilities globally. Storage offers both a service to the Puma
Energy downstream business, and also forms a revenue generator in
its own right, with substantial capacity leased to third
parties.
