Health, Safety & Environment

At Puma Energy, environmental management and the health and safety of staff, contractors and local people are of the highest priority. Such considerations influence every aspect of our operations from design and planning through to operations and maintenance.

Puma Energy expects every member of staff and every contractor to promote a safe, healthy and responsible business environment.

Typically we “over invest” to ensure our assets are “state of the art” and exceed the quality, flexibility and sophistication of our competitors.

Where they do not already hold them, our subsidiaries are undergoing the process of ISO accreditation. Furthermore all of our operations are audited annually by our internal HSE compliance teams headed up by our Global HSE manager, who reports directly to the chairman of the Puma Energy board.

Our commitment and investment in HSE through, for example operational training, is extensive with “Centres of Excellence” established as training hubs in the regions in which we operate.

For us, achieving operational excellence is all about a process of continual learning and improvement
